These reports are collected in real-time, and they’re interactive. This means that you can change your report, send it to people, and they can change the date rage and even add filters to get down to the exact metrics they’re concerned with.
With Data Studio, you can create fully customizable dashboards. You can start creating your report with a blank template or you can choose from a pre-programmed template. You can easily drag and drop charts, data, and other widgets to track what you or your clients are most interested in seeing. This feature also allows you to choose different fonts and colors to match your company. (Thank you, Google, for making reports far more visually pleasing than a ton of numbers bunched together.)
As of right now, Data Studio is FREE! That’s right. We said free. Prior versions of Data Studio only allowed you to create five reports per account, but reports and access to them are unlimited and free.
Just like a Google Doc, you can share Data Studio reports with anyone by sending them a shareable link. Anyone you give access to can view the report, and you can set the View and Edit permissions just like you can in a regular Google Doc. You can send as many reports to as many people as you’d like!
